July
This last week of July, I attended the annual Hacking The Loom workshop in Sweden, organised by Estonians Kadi Pajupuu and Marilyn Piirsalu. Together with 7 other international weavers we spent the week at beautiful Saterglantan Institutet for Slojd Och Hantverk, about 3 hours north of Stockholm.

Our days there were spent testing and expermenting with several devices to add extra warps to the fabric, twists in warps and of course the Railreed and Stepping Reed on a variety of floor looms.
The work was presented to the College on 26 July at our collective exhibition.
Railreed and Stepping reed are now both abailable to test out at Freeweaver Saori Studio. A special day testing reeds and reedless weaving will take place at the studio on 20 August
