it's already been six months since Misao's Memorial in Izumi. At a recent study visit to SaoriNoMori I was pleased to see the beautiful tribute to Saori's visionary founder, lovingly placed in the middle of the studio, right on the weaving floor and with a rotating scheme of hundreds of worldwide weavers' handwoven tribute cloth, including some pieces by Freeweaver students. In total, 17 such panels were constructed during the memorial ceremony.

A new device for cord making and art yarn spinning has been developed by Saori No Mori, we will be experimenting away at the studio over the next few months and make our own art yarns

Lovely new roof installation is taking shape and making the most of the stunning Osaka views:

A new certificate for Studio Holders was presented to me by Kenzo Jo
